About The Position

Connect n Care is a growing behavioral health organization, dedicated to providing stellar Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) services. Our qualified and professional team of BCBAs and RBTs use their years of expertise and knowledge to develop comprehensive ABA behavior treatment plans to improve the social, communication, adaptive living, and behavioral aspects of each individual client. As a Behavior Technician/ Registered Behavior Technician, you will work one-on-one with children with autism spectrum disorder, providing ABA therapy, whether it be from a patient's home, school, or in the community.

Requirements

Must have experience working as a BT or RBT in Applied Behavior Analysis
Minimum educational requirement of a High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Must be at least 18 years of age
Effective communication skills both verbal and written
Strong work ethic
Ability to obtain required certifications and training (i.e. First Aid)
Reliable transportation with a current and clear driver's license
Ability to pass a criminal background check including FBI and child abuse clearances

Responsibilities

Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in the home and community environments
Follow an individualized treatment plan tailormade by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to address and improve deficits
Implement behavior plans created by the BCBA
Collect data through observation and submit detailed session notes
Participate in training and team meetings
Collaborate with supervisors and peers
Address areas such as Language acquisition, Functional communication training, Social skills training, Daily living skills, Decreasing maladaptive behaviors, Community safety skills, Toilet training, and Executive function training.
