About The Position

Jumpstart Autism Collective is looking for energetic individuals to join our team as full time and part time Behavior Technicians in the heart of Albuquerque, New Mexico! During our extensive training program, you will receive between $17.00 to $18.00 per hour based on your previous experience. Once training is complete, your hourly pay will increase to $18.50 to $19.50 per hour. Requirements

Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle that is registered and insured.
High school diploma or equivalent (no college degree required).
Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
Reliable, have a passion for learning, and driven to create positive change in the lives of children with exceptional abilities.
A growth mindset, a compassionate heart, and a willingness to dive into our fun and interactive training.

Responsibilities

Work one on one with children on the Autism Spectrum.
Teach adaptive skills such as language development, functional communication, and social behaviors in a playful and engaging manner.
Utilize evidence-based practices including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Precision Teaching.
Create meaningful and lasting impacts for learners and their families.
Work closely with other Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA).
