School-based Registered Behavior Technician / RBT
About The Position
Make a difference every day by joining CCRES as a Registered Behavior Technician / RBT! CCRES is offering paid credentials, eliminating upfront costs for necessary clearances & TB screening. The pay rate is $30 per hour and progresses to $32 per hour (W2 employment), based on years of related experience. This position is for an RBT floater needed in elementary schools, working from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm (6.5 paid hours per day on a full school day). A Registered Behavior Technician / RBT is a paraprofessional who works directly with students who have significant behavioral and/or instructional needs. This includes students who require daily implementation of a crisis management plan, complex verbal behavior programming, and/or extensive data collection, graphing, and analysis. The RBT is responsible for the direct implementation of behavior-analytic services, including instruction and behavioral support, and practices under the close, ongoing supervision of a BCBA.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalency
- National certification as an RBT - active
- Maintain RBT certification as mandated by the BACB
- Maintain current certification in both CPR/First Aide and Crisis Prevention Intervention trainings
- Availability to work Monday through Friday following the academic calendar year
- Clearances current within 12 months: PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance, PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance, PA Department of Education FBI
- TB Screening - current within 3 months
- Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcript
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience utilizing Safety Care and/or physical management techniques
- Familiarity with using various methods of data collection
- Will consider applicants with completed 40 hours of RBT training designed to meet the 2026 training eligibility requirement for RBT certification
- Worked a minimum of 1 year directly with individuals with special needs
Responsibilities
