About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one, in-home support for an autistic teenager in Brooklyn. This is a part-time position, Monday through Friday from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM, and is structured as a 1099 independent contractor role. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing behavior intervention plans and working with teenagers on the autism spectrum.

Requirements

• Current RBT certification required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional in all situations
• Reliable transportation to Brooklyn location
• Must be able to work as a 1099 independent contractor

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children or teenagers with autism preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in the home setting
• Implement individualized treatment plans designed by a BCBA
• Collect and record accurate data on client progress
• Support skill development, including communication, social, and daily living skills
• Manage and respond appropriately to challenging behaviors
• Maintain consistent communication with supervising BCBA and family
• Ensure a safe, structured, and supportive environment
