About The Position
Blue Bird Day, a specialized intensive pediatric therapeutic day program, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate clinic-based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join their multidisciplinary team in Wheaton, IL. This role involves providing evidence-based, play-focused pediatric therapy in a collaborative environment. As an RBT, you will provide applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to children ages 2-7 years old with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs. You will foster each child's cognitive, social, emotional, adaptive, and developmental growth through individualized therapy, data collection, implementing intervention plans under BCBA supervision, collaborating with other therapists and social workers, and documenting progress while communicating with families.
Requirements
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Experience providing ABA therapy
- Experience working with children aged 2-7 years old
- Experience with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs
- Ability to collect data on programming
- Ability to implement evidence-based intervention plans
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to document progress and communicate with families

Responsibilities
