As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), the role involves providing one-on-one, play-based, ABA therapy services to pediatric and adolescent patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Under the supervision of a BCBA, teammates will follow Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and help patients further develop communication, motor skills, academic readiness, social skills, and independence.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age
Have a completed High School Diploma or GED
Passionate about helping families with autism thrive!
Graduates (or a degree in progress) within the field of: Psychology, Special Education, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Child Development, Social Work & Counseling
Dependable, creative, innovative, and energetic!

Nice To Haves

Experience in the following fields: paraprofessionals, nannies, babysitters, caregivers, teachers or Montessori guides, coaches, tutors, camp counselors

Responsibilities

Facilitate 1:1, naturalistic therapy services within a clinic-based environment
Track patient progress over time by collecting data and submitting clinical documentation
Following behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as outlined by your BCBA Supervisor
Communicate professionally and consistently with clinical management and families
Assist patients with daily living skills such as feeding and toileting
Adhere to patient confidentiality by following HIPAA guidelines
Provide behavioral support within speech or occupational therapy sessions
Obtain RBT Certification within your first 60 days of employment
