About The Position
A&E Firm seeks a Registered Architect who has the experience providing leadership to project design teams, creating and overseeing architectural design layouts, details, drawings, and specifications. This is a full-time permanent position with benefits located in the Canton, Ohio area.
Requirements
- Architectural degree
- NCARB Registered Architect
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on Architectural design and project management experience
- Strong written, verbal communication and documentation skills
- Familiar with Local, State and Federal Building Codes
- Ability to create architectural design layouts, details, drawings, and technical specifications
- Must pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or have a Green Card work permit
Nice To Haves
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit software
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to project design teams.
- Create and oversee architectural design layouts, details, drawings, and specifications.
- Evaluate, select and apply design skills and techniques to project related assignments.
- Review architectural documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines.
- Coordinate and integrate design work between the Architectural department and other engineering groups.
- Manage time effectively to keep projects on schedule and on budget.
- Provide project leadership and training to experienced and junior level staff members.
- Travel to customer sites as required.
