About The Position

The McPherson County Register of Deeds office is seeking applications for a Full-time Clerk I. This position requires a high school graduate or GED, data entry and computer knowledge, clear legible handwriting, strong editing skills, and excellent communications skills on telephone and with the general public. The ideal candidate will desire to work independently and as a team. A minimum of one year of office experience and/or knowledge of research and rules governing real estate is required. The ability to climb a ladder and lift books when necessary is also a requirement.
