This role also involves personnel management, including hiring, performance evaluation, and fostering a positive team environment. The manager is responsible for the team's work products and performance, providing guidance and support to staff, and ensuring the team maintains accurate project data. Additionally, the position requires conducting outreach efforts, maintaining professional relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring quality customer service. The role involves managing direct reports, maintaining confidential information, and adhering to agency records retention policies. The manager must also maintain required certifications and licenses and meet continuing education requirements. Travel within the State of Texas may be required.
