About The Position

As Regional VP-Sales for the Southeast, you’ll lead the charge in accelerating growth for SC Johnson Professional Brands (SCJP) by leading a strong sales team (7) and building an inspiring, high‑performing regional sales organization. Reporting directly to the Director, Field Sales, this role has direct ownership of the customer strategy and field tactics required to execute the SCJ Professional sales and marketing plan across the Skin, Hard Surface, and Iconic Brand product lines within the assigned geography. You’ll blend strategic leadership with hands‑on execution—owning regional business planning, driving disciplined territory performance, and developing talent through coaching, accountability, and a strong sales culture. Partnering closely with key end users and distributor leaders, you’ll leverage deep product and market expertise to deliver differentiated, value‑driven solutions. With a sharp focus on pipeline health, KPI performance, and revenue delivery, you’ll utilize SCJ Professional’s sales methodology, data, and CRM tools to optimize results while responsibly managing expenses and investments. Acting as the voice of the customer and distributor, you’ll provide critical market intelligence, influence cross‑functional initiatives, and help shape competitive strategy—all while role‑modeling SC Johnson values in a fast‑paced, collaborative, and purpose‑driven environment. This is a remote Sales role that requires the employee to be located within the Southeastern United States (AL, FL, GA, MS, NC, SC, VA, TN). This role will be known as Regional VP within the PRO business. Within the broader SC Johnson organization, the job is graded as a Manager, Sales, Account Management.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree AND 7+ years of sales or sales management experience within institutional, industrial, commercial channels of distribution with at least 4+ years of people leadership experience
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship for full-time employment

  • Ability to build and leverage cross-functional relationships internally/externally to support customer’s go-to-market strategy
  • Possess working knowledge of distribution logistics to end-users, programming, and promotional tools to drive revenue growth

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain a high performing sales culture through managing, training, and inspiring a team of territory sales managers.
  • Creation, execution, and reporting of tactical regional business plan to deliver assigned revenue targets.
  • Facilitation and performance management of local territory plans to deliver regional business objectives.
  • Establish, monitor and manage direct reports’ performance on critical territory KPIs including customer activity, end user pipeline velocity & conversion and overall sales target achievement for each territory within assigned geography.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with leadership at key end users and distributor partners.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of SC Johnson Professional and specific product value proposition, market landscape, competitive actions, and user needs.
  • Ensure adoption and utilization of SC Johnson Professional Sales Methodology
  • Daily utilization of SC Johnson Professional support tools, reports and CRM system to optimize time, communication and direction.
  • Active and responsible management of expenses and financial investments related to personnel, brokers and customer funding (pricing, promotions, dispensers, etc.)
  • Act as the Voice of the user and distributor to provide ongoing market intelligence and competitive response options to senior management.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to create and implement customer-specific communications and promotions, product development, process improvement and strategic initiatives.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships and communications with all internal functions.
