About The Position

Advances in clinical care delivery and technology have made it possible to provide exceptional care beyond traditional settings through virtual care. In response to market pressures - particularly provider shortages and opportunities for economies of scale - healthcare continues to shift toward virtual care delivery. To meet this demand, teams across the Providence footprint must develop and implement market-specific virtual care solutions that address complex compliance, billing, and legal requirements. Stakeholders need a single point of contact to guide them through available resources, support service establishment, and connect them with additional expertise. This position is accountable for supporting Regional Virtual Care across the health system. The Regional Virtual Care Program Manager (non-RN) for Virtual Care & Digital Health (VCDH) leads regional virtual care support and program management in alignment with Providence's 2030 strategy to deliver innovative, future-focused care. This role is the primary contact for regional stakeholders establishing new virtual care clinical services, guiding solution development and implementation while ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy, regulatory requirements, and operational standards. Serving as a connector across teams, the Regional Virtual Care Program Manager translates local needs into virtual care solutions that support compliance, billing, and legal requirements. The role also provides operational and technical implementation guidance, ranging from consultative support to full project implementation. Success in this role requires strong collaboration, leadership, communication, program development, advocacy, project management, organization, systems thinking, and the ability to navigate complex environments while driving execution and maintaining quality, efficiency, and financial stewardship. The role also serves as a consultant, manages Regional Virtual Care clinical service records, partners with sites on virtual care technology solutions, and acts as VCDH's main point of contact for regional virtual care services.
