Requirements

  • High School or GED
  • 13 years related job experience
  • 8 years managing teams
  • Drivers license
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must maintain an acceptable driving record and successfully pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check, background check, and drug screening in accordance with Company policy and applicable law.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Strategic Vision: Translate company goals into regional plans that deliver consistent, profitable, and high-quality outcomes.
  • Champion Best Practices: Promote standard operating procedures, safety standards, and performance benchmarks across all branches.
  • Lead Through Change: Navigate shifting priorities, new systems, and organizational growth while keeping teams focused and engaged.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with HR, Safety, Finance, and Fleet to support performance, compliance, and team development.
  • Be Seen in the Field: Maintain strong visibility across branches—engaging directly with managers, drivers, and support staff.
  • Represent Function: Advocate for regional needs while ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide initiatives and priorities.
  • Data-Driven Influence: Monitor KPIs and operational dashboards to track progress, identify gaps, and make informed decisions.
  • Performance Management: Set expectations, review results, and coach branch leaders to improve productivity, quality, and customer outcomes.
  • Policy & Compliance: Ensure branches adhere to DOT, OSHA, and internal company policies related to safety, maintenance, and conduct.
  • Cost Oversight: Manage P&Ls, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive margin growth without compromising service or safety.
  • Drive Sales Growth: Expand revenue by strengthening relationships with existing customers and enabling new customer acquisition through strategic business development.
  • Operational Efficiency: Optimize labor planning, route execution, resource allocation, and use of equipment to deliver high-value results.
  • Technology & Tools: Promote adoption of tech platforms that improve route visibility, driver communication, and job quality.
  • Empower Others to Succeed: Develop and support strong branch leadership; hold teams accountable while celebrating success.
  • Model Partnership: Create alignment with other departments to ensure smooth execution of strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Frontline First: Listen to and advocate for frontline employees—addressing challenges and reinforcing a culture of respect and pride.
  • Build Strong, Aligned Teams: Recruit, train, and retain top operational talent; foster leadership pipelines across the region.
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate commitment to safety, service, and integrity in all interactions—setting the tone for the region.
