About The Position

Regional Vice President – Operations – Hill Country Austin/San Antonio Walters Hospitality is a premier wedding and event venue company with a growing portfolio of more than 40 uniquely stunning locations. Our mission is to create unforgettable experiences by combining beautiful spaces with exceptional service. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Regional Vice President (RVP) to lead our regional operations and drive growth, performance, and consistency across our approximately 10 venues in the Texas Hill Country. This leader will report directly to the COO. The Regional Vice President is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the performance and operations of multiple venue locations within the defined region. The RVP ensures each property upholds brand standards, meets financial and service goals, and delivers memorable guest experiences. This role requires hands-on leadership, financial acumen, team development, and a passion for hospitality and events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years operations leadership experience
  • 3+ years multi-site operations experience
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to retain large amounts of product knowledge
  • Significant working knowledge and comfort working with CRM systems
  • Competency with Google Docs and Sheets
  • Ability to work most Weekends/ Nights and Holidays

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations (directly accountable for venue operations, planning and culinary operations) of approximately ten venues in the region.
  • Ensure operational excellence, consistency, and adherence to brand standards across all locations.
  • Conduct regular site visits and audits to assess venue performance and guest experience.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor leaders and other key staff at each venue.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to resolve complex operational issues.
  • Develop and manage regional budgets, forecasts, and P&L performance.
  • Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to improve profitability.
  • Monitor KPIs including revenue, cost control, bookings, customer satisfaction, and labor efficiency.
  • Partner various (sales, planning, operations and kitchen) teams to drive bookings and revenue growth.
  • Ensure consistent execution of pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and brand positioning.
  • Support local marketing initiatives and community engagement.
  • Champion a client-first culture and ensure venues deliver exceptional experiences.
  • Handle escalated client issues or major event challenges as needed.
  • Implement feedback loops and continuous improvement practices.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements, cost savings, and revenue growth.
  • Support expansion efforts including opening new venues or entering new markets.
  • Contribute to long-term strategic planning and company-wide initiatives.
