Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in operations management within a high-growth, dynamic, and complex organization.
  • Proven success in achieving operational excellence and meeting financial performance targets.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities with a demonstrated capacity to influence and lead organizational change.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-driven orientation.
  • Experience in managing multiple priorities and projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, distribution, landscape supply, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated success of leading regional, multi-state/geographically dispersed operations and sales management teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Successful track record of effectively managing full financial P&L accountability, Growing Revenue, Gross Margin, Operating Income/EBITDA, while controlling Labor Productivity and Cost Management.
  • An effective developer of talent across all levels of branch operations and sales to both build high performing teams and pipeline benches to support the company’s growth.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, influence organizational change, and drive accountability.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on leadership approach and a bias for action.
  • Experience improving operational processes, efficiency, and service delivery.
  • Background in landscape, wholesale distribution, or related industries.
  • Experience leading through growth, transformation, or acquisition integration environments.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a closely related field is required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in operations management within a high-growth, dynamic, and complex organization is required.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development and execution of the regional operational strategy, ensuring it aligns with and supports Heritage Landscaping's corporate objectives and strategic priorities.
  • Cultivate a high-performance culture by mentoring senior management, encouraging professional growth, and fostering a commitment to excellence and innovation.
  • Direct the execution of all regional operations, ensuring timely, on-budget, and quality delivery of projects while continuously seeking process improvements to drive efficiencies.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) proactively to identify trends, assess potential risks, and implement necessary corrective actions swiftly.
  • Spearhead revenue growth initiatives by effectively managing the regional budget, optimizing cost structures, and strategically allocating resources to maximize profitability.
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis to inform strategic decisions, ensuring accountability and optimal performance of regional P&L objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies, to advance regional goals and business opportunities.
  • Serve as an essential conduit between regional operations and corporate headquarters, facilitating effective communication and coordinated efforts.
  • Champion transformation initiatives to enhance organizational agility, fostering adaptability in response to market changes.
  • Promote a culture of continuous innovation by integrating the latest industry trends and technologies, driving sustainable competitive advantage.
