About The Position

The Regional Vice President, Business Development generates revenue by developing market potential through lead generation, qualification, and closing sales, and recommending new products and services. This role involves identifying market potential, initiating the sales process, building and maintaining an accurate pipeline, closing sales, and expanding sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services. The position also contributes to market strategy by monitoring competitors and recommending new offerings. The individual will update their knowledge through educational opportunities and industry events, achieve annual quotas, and perform other duties as assigned. Additionally, the role requires strict adherence to HIPAA standards for protecting patient health information (PHI) and complying with Information Security policies.

Requirements

  • 7+ years experience in Sales
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate value propositions to prospective clients
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close new business opportunities
  • Strong sales acumen with experience in sales planning, territory management, and executing strategic growth initiatives
  • Proven prospecting and business development skills, including identifying, qualifying, and cultivating new client opportunities
  • Consistent track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas and performance goals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization
  • Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Must possess a smart-phone or electronic device capable of downloading applications, for multifactor authentication and security purposes

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university preferred
  • Knowledge of RCM functions is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Identify market potential by qualifying accounts in their Territory and through relationships outside of their Territory
  • Initiate sales process by scheduling appointments, making initial presentation, and understanding account requirements
  • Build and maintains accurate pipeline and record of meetings, progress using Salesforce
  • Close sales by building rapport with potential customers, explaining product and service capabilities, overcoming objections, and preparing contracts
  • Initiate implementation process for Operational hand-off and participates in implementation updates and progress
  • Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services and developing new applications
  • Contribute information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from accounts
  • Recommend new products and services by evaluating current product results and identifying needs to be filled
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and attending industry events
  • Achieve annual quota
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Use, protect and disclose patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards
  • Understands and comply with Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures at all times
  • Limits viewing of PHI to the absolute minimum as necessary to perform assigned duties
