About The Position

Alliance Animal Health is seeking a Regional Medical Director to lead and support six general practice clinics in the Los Angeles area. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will continue practicing medicine while also shaping clinical standards, mentoring veterinarians, and elevating patient care across your region. You will partner closely with your Regional Operations Manager to align medical and operational excellence, while serving as a trusted resource for your teams.

Requirements

• Current Veterinary License holder for the State of California; or the ability to obtain
• 5+ years of clinical experience as a veterinarian, deeply confident in your medicine
• Natural leader and mentor who is driven to teach others
• Highly organized and able to manage time effectively
• Willingness to travel across the region to support all clinics spanning from Palmdale, CA to Covina, CA

Nice To Haves

• DEA license preferred, not required

Responsibilities

• Provide medical leadership and oversight across multiple locations
• Mentor and develop associate veterinarians, especially early-career DVMs
• Support clinical growth in areas like surgery, diagnostics, and case management
• Foster a collaborative, positive, and high-performing team culture
• Help drive consistency in quality of care while respecting each hospital’s individuality
