About The Position
Tempur Sealy is seeking a CDL Truck Driver for regional routes at their Albany, NY Plant. The company is a leading designer, manufacturer, distributor, and retailer of bedding products worldwide, with iconic brands like Tempur-Pedic®, Sealy® and Stearns & Foster®. Requirements
- Possess a current and valid Class A CDL (interstate)
- Safe driving record
- 12+ months of driving experience (defined as Interstate operation of a Class A combination vehicle/tractor trailer), preferably within the previous three years.
- Experience with electronic, on-boarding recordkeeping systems
- Experience working in customer facing roles
- At least 21 years old
Responsibilities
- Transport and deliver company products to customer locations within a specific geographic area.
- Deliver and pick-up raw materials and other backhaul loads when applicable.
- Operate safely and strictly within all Company and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
- For some regional driver positions, overnight trips may be required several times throughout the work week during the month.
- Drivers on local routes will be home every night.
