About The Position
Become a Regional Travel Registered Nurse (RN) with Georgia Hospice Care. This role is for individuals seeking a dynamic career where no two days are the same and who are committed to creating meaningful patient experiences. As a regional travel RN, you will evaluate patients, create care plans, and communicate with patients, families, and the care team. You will travel to patients throughout your designated region, potentially for extended periods requiring overnight stays. The primary goal is to ensure every patient receives quality care. Extensive travel with overnight stays is required, but the position includes a company car and guarantees that you are always home for weekends. You will also be home more often when stationed locally. Similar to all team members, regional travel RNs have access to Georgia Hospice Care’s supportive leadership team and professional development opportunities with ample room for advancement.
Requirements
- A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current state license as a registered nurse.
- Two or more years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting required.
- At least one year of hospice experience required.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently, lift at least 80-100 lbs, and bear the weight of an average adult effectively.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and create care plans.
- Communicate with patients, patients' families, and the care team.
- Travel to patients throughout their region as designated by their supervisor.
- Ensure every patient receives quality care.
