About The Position

KidStrong is seeking a Regional Manager to oversee three centers in the Raleigh/Cary/Fuquay-Varina, NC area. This is an in-person role focused on ensuring the highest quality of children's development classes, driving revenue growth, and managing the overall performance of the centers. The ideal candidate will be obsessed with the quality of the 45-minute class, possess strong leadership skills to manage General Managers and coaching staff, and have full P&L responsibility. This role requires a hands-on approach, working nights and weekends to align with member peak hours, and a commitment to making these the best KidStrong centers in the country.

Requirements

  • Personally owned a P&L, including building, carrying, and being responsible for the margin.
  • Managed managers (multi-unit experience strongly preferred).
  • Genuinely good with kids and parents.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and when members are present in the centers.

Nice To Haves

  • Multi-unit franchise, boutique fitness, youth sports, or childcare background.
  • Fluency in membership/recurring-revenue businesses.
  • Comfort with a CRM and a P&L in the same afternoon.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation between all sites.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and ensure curriculum fidelity across all three KidStrong centers.
  • Observe classes regularly and provide feedback to coaches to improve performance.
  • Maintain consistent standards of excellent classes across all locations.
  • Manage General Managers, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluation.
  • Develop coaching staff and build a strong team to minimize turnover.
  • Drive member retention by understanding cancellation reasons and implementing save strategies.
  • Manage full P&L responsibility for three locations, including revenue growth, membership sales, retention, payroll, and cost control.
  • Build and manage budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Lead generation through community and school partnerships, birthday parties, camps, and local marketing.
  • Oversee operations including staffing, scheduling, labor cost control, facility standards, safety, and compliance.
  • Assist in opening new locations, including site readiness, hiring, pre-sale, and achieving profitability.
  • Work nights and weekends to align with member peak hours.
