Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required or minimum of 5-8 years’ of employee benefits experience including systems, compliance, and various client size.
Must be detailed with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong management and demonstrated team-building skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to effectively build and maintain positive and trusted working relationships with management and peers.
Must have the ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
Proficiency in MS office applications required.

Responsibilities

Managing the Employee Health & Benefits (EH&B) technical training program for MMA FL.
Designing, implementing & monitoring the EH&B technical training program and oversee the implementation of various initiatives as defined with MMA’s strategic plan.
Collaborating with local managers to understand, develop, and execute on the EH&B Training Program with the goal of getting the service team ‘desk-ready’.
Leveraging & Improving foundational curriculum for new hire onboarding and ongoing training support.
Developing training content for new and existing colleagues for system functionality, best practices, etc. to support EH&B systems (AMS, document management), tools (Playbook, etc.), and services (iNGAGED, Broker Transparency, etc.).
Serving as a subject matter expert to users to ensure continuous improvement of training on technical knowledge to include new and refresher courses, intermediate & advanced topics.
Collaborating with Operations to test EH&B workflow processes & procedures and develop training materials as they get added to MMA Playbook.
Collaborating with managers to fully understand technical skill gaps, work flows & processes and individual knowledge deficits and training needs.
Partnering with business leaders and the Talent Management COE team to identify resources available to support learning & training needs.
Representing the FL region on the MMA U – EH&B Workgroup.
Measuring MMA’s colleague results by monitoring progress towards goals and objectives; instituting methods for continuous improvement in key areas, modifying training plans as needed; measuring the effectiveness of training programs.
Conferring with and actively engaging management and leadership.
Keeping leaders effectively informed of all significant matters involving the Company, appropriately consulting in matters where their oversight is essential or their insight is helpful.
Providing general direction to assure compliance with insurance regulation and other laws; keeping informed of any new legislation that may impact the business; and establishing overall policy for effective representation of the Company.
