About The Position

Hiatus Day Spa + Med Spa is seeking a driven, creative, and highly connected Regional Talent Acquisition Specialist for the Houston market and other assigned regions. This role is responsible for actively building relationships, developing talent pipelines, and creating new ways to connect Hiatus with top professionals in the spa, wellness, and medical-aesthetics industries. The ideal candidate has strong experience recruiting within these sectors and understands how to engage clinical and service-based talent. This person will lead full-cycle recruiting for various positions, develop sustainable pipelines through direct sourcing, professional associations, hiring events, school partnerships, industry relationships, referrals, and grassroots recruiting efforts. The position requires local and regional travel.

Requirements

  • Three or more years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
  • Strong experience in medical aesthetics, spa, healthcare, beauty, wellness, or a related industry.
  • Demonstrated success sourcing and hiring licensed service providers and medical professionals, including aesthetic injectors, massage therapists, estheticians, or nail therapists.
  • Experience developing passive-candidate pipelines rather than relying solely on job-board applicants.
  • Proven ability to build partnerships with massage schools, esthetics and cosmetology programs, nail technology programs, nursing schools, aesthetic-training programs, and professional associations.
  • Experience planning hiring events, career fairs, networking events, or grassroots recruiting initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of social sourcing through LinkedIn, Instagram, and other relevant platforms.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and candidate-engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple openings, locations, and competing priorities with urgency and organization.
  • Strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential candidate and employee information.
  • Comfortable using an applicant tracking system.
  • Ability to travel throughout the Houston area and to other assigned Texas markets as business needs require.

Nice To Haves

  • Existing knowledge of the Houston spa and medical-aesthetics markets and their professional communities strongly preferred.
  • ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for aesthetic injectors, massage therapists, estheticians, nail therapists, and other assigned spa and med-spa positions.
  • Proactively source passive candidates through LinkedIn, social media, professional networks, industry events, referrals, and direct outreach.
  • Build and maintain strong pipelines of experienced aesthetic injectors, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, massage therapists, estheticians, and nail therapists.
  • Act as the expert on the Houston talent market, identifying where top spa and medical-aesthetics professionals work, learn, network, and build their professional communities.
  • Develop thoughtful, personalized outreach to introduce candidates to the Hiatus brand and create interest in opportunities.
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruiting process, ensuring a polished and welcoming experience.
  • Conduct video interviews to evaluate experience, availability, compensation alignment, professionalism, and connection to the Hiatus Way.
  • Partner with hiring leaders to coordinate practicals, interviews, and timely hiring decisions.
  • Maintain accurate candidate activity, feedback, and hiring records within the applicant tracking system.
  • Monitor recruiting activity and results, including pipeline health, time to fill, source effectiveness, offer acceptance, and new-hire retention.
  • Build meaningful relationships with massage therapy schools, esthetics programs, cosmetology schools, nail technology programs, nursing schools, nurse practitioner and physician assistant programs, and aesthetic-training academies.
  • Create a consistent school-engagement strategy including classroom visits, career fairs, presentations, graduate outreach, alumni relationships, and student events.
  • Develop relationships with instructors, career-services teams, and program leaders to establish Hiatus as an employer of choice.
  • Build partnerships with aesthetic educators, advanced-training providers, professional organizations, product representatives, and respected industry professionals.
  • Partner with industry representatives (e.g., Allergan, Galderma, skincare lines) to expand Hiatus’s professional network and increase awareness of career opportunities.
  • Represent Hiatus at industry events, continuing-education programs, conferences, and community networking opportunities.
  • Create talent communities to stay connected with promising professionals before positions become available.
  • Plan and execute engaging hiring events, injector networking events, provider open houses, school events, career previews, practical events, and recruiting pop-ups.
  • Develop out-of-the-box recruiting campaigns that reflect the Hiatus brand and attract passive candidates.
  • Identify local partnership opportunities to expand Hiatus’s reach within the spa, wellness, beauty, and medical-aesthetics communities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Education, and Operations on recruiting content, social media campaigns, provider spotlights, and employer-branding initiatives.
  • Develop targeted recruiting strategies for difficult-to-fill roles, locations, and schedules.
  • Regularly evaluate recruiting results and adjust strategies based on market needs.
  • Serve as a trusted talent partner to Regional Leaders, Spa General Managers, Med Spa leaders, Education, and the People team.
  • Meet regularly with hiring leaders to review openings, needs, pipelines, and priorities.
  • Help leaders define the experience, qualities, and availability needed for each position.
  • Provide honest market feedback regarding candidate availability, compensation, competition, and recruiting challenges.
  • Maintain urgency, accountability, and consistent follow-through throughout the hiring process.
  • Support new-location openings and high-volume hiring initiatives as needed.
