About The Position

RapidXchange is a family-owned propane cylinder exchange delivery company that services all sort of commercial and industrial businesses, and we are constantly GROWING! We are seeking an experienced and career-minded Region Manager with a background in distribution, sales, and customer service for our Gulf Coast Region. Our ideal candidate is a working manager who is highly motivated, a self-starter, and is committed to safety and leading with a high level of motivation and integrity. At our distribution centers located throughout the South and East United States we service our customers with an emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction. This role would be accountable for the daily operations of some of these distribution centers covering Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, and East Texas.

Requirements

Must have a valid CDL
Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
College degree in Operations Management or equivalent experience
Working knowledge of OSHA and DOT standards
Two or more years in the propane industry preferred

Nice To Haves

Truck operation, repair, and maintenance knowledge a plus!

Responsibilities

Leading a team of 10-15 delivery and install drivers in day-to-day operations
Hiring, training, coaching, and separation of staff as necessary
Promote and account for safe work practices and training
Prioritize cross training of staff to achieve flexibility and meet delivery requirements
Sustain inventory levels of work supplies at each distribution center to meet customer demand
Coordinate with contractors to maintain a safe and neat distribution center as necessary
Liaise with customers as necessary to accommodate any concerns
Step into function specific roles as necessary to continue distribution
Work in conjunction with managers of Safety, Fleet, Customer Service, and Sales to optimize customer performance in all aspects.
