About The Position

Responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with strategic customers within the US region, driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities within key accounts, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure Best-in-Class customer satisfaction; essentially acting as the primary point of contact for key accounts within assigned region. The role involves overseeing and managing operational performance delivery for assigned strategic customers to ensure that service expectations are managed in line with KPI’s and the customers’ expectations. This includes airlines, MROs (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul providers), aircraft leasing companies, OEMs and aviation suppliers. The role focuses on ensuring seamless logistics solutions for time-critical aircraft parts, AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situations, and routine supply chain movements while driving revenue growth and customer retention. Requirements

  • Strong understanding of aviation logistics and time-critical freight operation
  • Solid knowledge of AOG (Aircraft on Ground) processes and aircraft spare parts handling
  • Experience managing airline, MRO, or aerospace manufacturer accounts
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the aerospace industry
  • Strong knowledge of freight forwarding processes, including regional variations
  • Supervisory-level experience or above in logistics or account management
  • Excellent negotiation skills and strong commercial acumen
  • Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and regulatory awareness
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and logistics management platforms
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (preferred)
  • 3-7+ years’ experience in aviation logistics, freight forwarding, or aerospace supply chain management
  • Proven track record of revenue growth, account retention, and margin management
  • Strong knowledge of international shipping, customs procedures, and dangerous goods regulations
  • IATA certification or dangerous goods qualification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships with strategic aviation clients including airlines, MROs, OEMs, leasing companies, and freight partners
  • Act as the primary commercial and operational point of contact for customer logistics requirements, including urgent AOG shipments
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with customer operational and commercial objectives
  • Coordinate closely with Operations teams to ensure seamless execution of time-critical aircraft part movements
  • Monitor shipment performance, service levels, and compliance with aviation regulations.
  • Identify opportunities for service expansion including warehousing, charter solutions, customs brokerage, and long-term contract agreements
  • Negotiate pricing structures, service agreements, and contract renewals to protect margin and drive revenue growth
  • Ensure compliance with aviation security regulations (e.g., known consignor requirements, dangerous goods handling, customs regulations).
  • Prepare regular account performance reports, including KPIs and service reviews.
  • Manage service escalations swiftly to minimize operational disruption and protect customer relationships
  • Maintain awareness of global aviation trends, regulatory developments, and supply chain challenges
