About The Position

This role serves as a Regional Specialist in Human Resources, responsible for maintaining HRIS records, administering various employee leaves and accommodations, and providing comprehensive administrative support to the HR function and daily office operations. The position involves direct interaction with employees, managers, and external parties to ensure compliance with laws and policies, facilitate communication, and support employee programs.

  • Experience supporting ADA accommodations.
  • Ability to answer general employment inquiries and employee questions.
  • Experience processing new hire paperwork and background checks.
  • Experience preparing offer letters and termination letters.
  • Experience working with managers and payroll on employee pay matters.
  • Experience serving as a point of contact for employee relations matters.
  • Proficiency in administrative support tasks for HR functions.
  • Ability to assist in day-to-day office operations.
  • Experience assisting with employee programs.
  • Ability to handle special projects and general HR duties.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain HRIS records, perform data entry, and compile reports for analysis, compliance, or upon request.
  • Administer workers’ compensation claims, including investigating new claims, ensuring compliance, managing providers, and authorizing medical treatment.
  • Administer FMLA leaves, including tracking, documentation, and compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Support ADA accommodations by coordinating interactive processes, reasonable accommodations, and related documentation.
  • Answer phone calls for general employment inquiries and basic employee questions on benefits, policies, procedures, and other HR matters.
  • Process new hire paperwork and background checks.
  • Prepare offer letters and termination letters.
  • Work closely with managers and payroll department on matters of employee pay.
  • Serve as initial point of contact for employee relations matters.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR function through record keeping, file maintenance, correspondence generation, and data entry.
  • Assist in day-to-day office operations, including greeting employees, answering requests, and processing Personnel Action Forms.
  • Assist HR Department in carrying out various employee programs.
  • Special projects as assigned.
  • Other general HR duties as assigned.
