About The Position

In this role, you will shape and grow the Service business for Data Center customers across North America, translating global service strategies into clear regional and country-level actions. Your work will focus on supporting large-scale, mission-critical power infrastructure that data centers depend on for reliability, efficiency, and long-term performance. By coordinating multi-country accounts, enabling regional sales teams, and promoting digital lifecycle services, you will help customers operate resilient electrical systems while navigating evolving grid and data center demands. This position offers broad exposure to complex service environments, cross-border collaboration, and long-term customer relationships, with the opportunity to influence how service strategies are executed across a diverse and fast-moving market.

Requirements

  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, account management, or service roles within energy or data center infrastructure
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating complex service contracts and managing strategic customer relationships
  • Sound understanding of electrical infrastructure, digital services, and data center operations
  • Experience working with cross-functional and cross-country teams in a matrixed environment
  • Ability to travel across North America for customer and internal engagements

Responsibilities

  • Translate global Data Center service go-to-market priorities into actionable regional and local execution plans
  • Negotiate and sign major frame agreements with large data center customers across North America
  • Manage multi-country customer accounts as unified portfolios while supporting localized execution
  • Build and manage a collaborative regional sales network that promotes shared practices and coordinated delivery
  • Support and coach sales teams in service selling, strategic accounts, and digital lifecycle services
  • Drive customer engagement plans and participate in strategic discussions with hyperscale and enterprise clients
  • Oversee pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and budget targets for the Data Center service segment
  • Promote adoption of standard tools and data-driven practices to support informed commercial actions
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
