About The Position

The Regional Service Representative will provide full store service, stocking and/or program resets under the direction of the Area Manager. They will be required to travel to various Lowes’ stores as needed due to vacancies, PTO (Paid Time Off), or surge in business needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Possess and maintain a current unrestricted (other than for vision correction) driver’s license and acceptable driving record along with adequate on-going auto insurance on personal vehicle.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to successfully communicate verbally and in written form with employees and various levels of management.
  • Solid organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, make accurate decisions, and analyze risk, while adhering to deadlines.
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule.
  • Must demonstrate courtesy, diplomacy, tact, and a proven ability to foster relationships based on integrity and professionalism.

Nice To Haves

  • Training in construction and/or inventory analysis helpful.
  • Prior field service work experience or big box retail experience.
  • Highly motivated, customer oriented and a self-starter
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and great follow-up and follow-through skills.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of building products or materials industry.

Responsibilities

  • Fills-in in various roles/responsibilities within a geographic region as directed by Area Manager.
  • Reviews store merchandising and inventory, prepares culling and writing credits for damaged or defective products.
  • Conducts store audits and takes the necessary action to correct deficiencies and notify customers of changes needed in their inventory systems.
  • Recommends new products when appropriate, addressing customer concerns and needs.
  • Ensures point-of-purchase materials and literature are updated and in place.
  • Build and foster strong relationships with home center store management and employees.
  • Provide training and technical direction to store personnel on Novo products and services.
  • Analyzes performance, product mix, market conditions, and new product opportunities and recommend changes when appropriate.
  • Performs reset activities under the guidance of NHC Store Planning team.
  • Assist Area Manager with administrative duties, scheduling and/or interviewing for various roles as required.
  • Participate in special events for customers (i.e., Grand Openings, Contractor Days, product knowledge training, etc.), as requested.
  • Manages all expenses per corporate policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
