The Regional School Psychologist serves as the lead provider of psychological and mental health services across all KIPP Miami schools (K–12). This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, legally compliant, and student-centered psychoeducational evaluations; strengthens regional mental health systems; and safeguards threat assessment and suicide prevention protocols. The Regional School Psychologist travels between campuses throughout the week on a structured cadence and serves all schools within the region. This role ensures full alignment with: IDEA and Florida eligibility criteria FLDOE evaluation timelines and procedural safeguards Best practices in comprehensive psychoeducational evaluation Threat Assessment and Suicide Risk Assessment protocols State-mandated Youth Mental Health Training requirements MTSS and data-driven problem-solving frameworks The Regional School Psychologist serves as the lead of the Mental Health Department and partners closely with the Director of ESE & Student Services, Assistant Director of Exceptional Student Compliance, Assistant Director of Exceptional Student Achievement, school leaders, counselors, and culture teams to ensure services are preventative, compliant, and student-centered.
