The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for providing cost-effective and practical upfit solutions to commercial truck prospects throughout the region. The Representative is responsible for managing relationships with the dealerships in the territory (encompassing Long Island, Metro New York Area and Westchester County), helping them understand the solutions that are available and maintaining adequate inventory levels of Dejana product. The position would respond to sales inquiries from commercial truck prospects and develop truck specifications/proposals together with dealership personnel as well as fleet & municipal accounts. Responsible for meeting annual sales goals established for the region. Actively identifies and engages new customers and accounts within the territory. Responds to sales inquiries from customers and dealerships within the territory. Develops specifications and submits proposals for commercial truck equipment. Manages open job orders through production to delivery. Represents company at trade shows and dealer events. Provides training and conducts presentations online and in-person. Generally, acts in a customer service capacity.
