The role is responsible for generating new business sales and profits (P&L) within the assigned territory. The manager commits to an annual sales plan, sets specific objectives, and forecasts orders and revenue monthly. They must develop excellent product knowledge and market awareness, report activities weekly, and represent the company with high standards of business ethics and professionalism. They are also responsible for communicating market trends, competitive activities, and ideas to management.
