Regional Sales Manager

About The Position

This position is responsible for developing sales and marketing for a specifically defined region or territory. This position is also responsible for closing and growing sales base for the region for both service and parts sales.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in experience.
  • 2-3 years sales experience in a direct sales environment, preferably within the same industry or within a comparable service industry (HVAC, refrigeration services, electrical services, etc.).
  • 2-3 years previous experience managing a sales territory.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills combined with good interpersonal skills.
  • Driving record acceptable under auto liability insurance guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Contact new and existing customers face to face and over the phone for sales contact within a defined region.
  • Sell service and parts using technical, organization and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the available parts and services to their needs resulting in revenue generation.
  • Provide input and participate in the marketing and market planning for the defined region.
  • Follow up on all leads in the region including those generated by the local branch offices.
  • Work with Area Managers at branches within region to support the branch sales goals.
  • Complete weekly sales reports, regular expense reports and any other required reporting in a timely and professional manner.
  • Performs other duties as required.
