Noisy CreekSeattle, WA

About The Position

Noisy Creek is a growing media company dedicated to invigorating beloved and trusted alternative media across the United States. We are a multiplatform business with digital and print media properties in a growing number of markets across the U.S. Our initial papers were The Stranger in Seattle and the Portland Mercury. We recently added Chicago’s Reader to our portfolio. Additionally, we have EverOut (an event discovery brand), a ticketing platform, and additional lines of work in podcasts and live events. At their best, these publications are the lifeblood of civic life, culture, and politics in their communities. Noisy Creek exists to sustain and scale this model, building the most influential local media company in the country by leaning into local voices and supporting them with new and diverse revenue products. The Opportunity The Regional Sales Manager will lead day-to-day sales operations across our flagship Pacific Northwest markets, directly managing the account executives and sales coordinators who serve Seattle (The Stranger) and Portland (Portland Mercury). This is a hands-on, player-coach role focused on hitting revenue targets, developing a high-performing team, and selling Noisy Creek’s full portfolio of advertising, sponsorship, events, and ticketing products. Working closely with local Publishers and reporting to the revenue leadership team, the Regional Sales Manager will set quotas, coach reps, manage the regional pipeline, and own the relationships with our most important advertisers and agency partners. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable building a sales strategy and getting in the field to close business alongside the team.
