About The Position

As the Regional Sales Manager, you lead business activities across a multi‑state territory to achieve annual orders, sales, service revenue, and new business growth targets. In this role, you develop and execute strategic business plans, strengthen customer relationships, and drive sustainable year‑over-year growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another technical discipline (preferred).
  • Minimum of six years of sales experience within a technology‑focused organization.
  • Strong organizational, time‑management, and follow‑up skills.
  • Demonstrated success growing business as a technical sales professional.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong presentation skills in English.
  • Experience using Salesforce (preferred).
  • Ability to travel extensively.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Electron Microscopy, Life Sciences, Semiconductor industries, or Vibration Control.
  • Experience selling capital equipment.
  • Knowledge of marketing processes, including market research, pricing, and competitive analysis.
  • Proven ability to close complex deals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business plans to achieve annual orders, sales, and service revenue goals.
  • Drive year‑over-year growth within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities.
  • Build and expand key and strategic customer accounts to increase market share.
  • Manage relationships with customers at all organizational levels.
  • Communicate customer insights and local market needs to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain an active opportunity pipeline to support long‑term growth.
  • Update Salesforce weekly with accurate and detailed information.
  • Submit monthly forecasts and weekly business reports.
  • Deliver business presentations for internal meetings, customer engagements, trade shows, seminars, and conferences.
  • Conduct market research, pricing analysis, and competitive analysis.
  • Support pricing strategies, including price increases, while maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Ensure orders, contracts, agreements, and transactions comply with company policies, regulatory standards, and U.S. laws.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the business to win opportunities.
  • Travel extensively within the assigned territory; international travel may be required.
