About The Position

The Regional Sales Manager will establish and maintain strong working relationships with customers by providing technical assistance, entertainment, and frequent personal contact with customers' upper-level management. This role involves developing and presenting proposals to customers for Fiber Glass Systems products, providing technical guidance and sales support, and preparing territory forecasts and budgets while monitoring progress. The manager will stay informed about competitors' products and services, assist in developing market and pricing strategies, and help prepare job specifications and presentations for various industrial, governmental, and code officials.

Requirements

  • Previous sales experience (territory management preferred)
  • Previous customer-facing experience
  • Candidate must be able to work independently in a home-based office, as the schedule is fully remote
  • Candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to provide group presentations in a seminar environment
  • Significant domestic travel is required
  • Valid US driver’s license and safe driving history
  • Overnight Travel required
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical sales working with Engineers, Architects, etc.
  • Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel & PowerPoint is required.
  • General understanding of how environmental regulations are enforced in the petroleum and water markets.
  • Requires excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers.
  • Requires good organizational and computer skills to prepare presentations, maintain customer files, prepare management reports, and maintain accurate records

  • Knowledge of the downstream petroleum industry is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assists in preparing job specifications and in making presentations to various industrial, governmental, and code officials.
