About The Position

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and managing a sales team to achieve established targets and objectives. This role involves leading, managing, and holding accountable a sales team tasked with retaining and growing revenue across all Ford Office Technologies products and services. In addition to managing people, this role will also manage some of your own accounts. Key areas of focus include Net New Major Account Generation, Current Client Retention and Expansion, Team Forecasting Accuracy, and Achieving Team Revenue Target. The manager will lead the sales team by providing guidance and experience on obtaining new leads, generating client meetings, and presenting and closing sales proposals. They will manage to daily, monthly, and annual Key Performance Indicators and hold the team accountable to these KPIs. The role also involves acting as a consultant to clients to educate, address pain points, and deliver solutions using FOT prescribed products and services, coordinating internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) as needed. Sales cycle leadership from lead to order includes handling quotes, proposals, walk-throughs, order presentation, and delivery. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) involves maintaining client communications, pipeline, and forecast using the CRM tool. Performance evaluations for sales team members will be conducted, with feedback provided and performance improvement plans implemented when necessary. Compliance with company policies and industry regulations is also a responsibility. With continued growth, the role includes interviewing and hiring decisions.

Requirements

  • Two or more years of direct supervisory responsibilities in sales.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • Four or more years of sales experience.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Positive team player.
  • Ability to meet established deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and analytical skills are essential for success in this role.
