About The Position

We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager in the NYC region. The ideal candidate will live in NYC or western Nassau County, near the Queens border (Floral Park, New Hyde Park, Great Neck, Valley Stream, or Lake Success). This role involves promoting high-quality products and assisting partners in the sales and education of Axis Communications solutions within the designated territory.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent electronic trade training
5+ years’ in a sales-driven position
Strong technical background
Fluency in Microsoft Office applications
Strong selling skills, ability to listen and tailor a presentation to meet customer needs with a responsible independent drive
Ability to effectively motivate in a time-sensitive environment
Trustworthy and resourceful disposition
Public speaking skills
Multi-tasking and time management skills
Must live in NYC or western Nassau County, near the Queens border (Floral Park, New Hyde Park, Great Neck, Valley Stream, or Lake Success).

Responsibilities

Continually promote and educate integrators, distributors, consultants, and end-users on the benefits of IP Video and Axis cameras.
Maintain fluid and dedicated relations with prospects and current customers.
Arrange and execute site visits to conduct product demonstrations, presentations, lunch and learns, and speaking seminars.
Work cohesively with Axis Communication’s Application Development Partners.
Recommend proper camera solutions and adequate product comparisons.
Actively participate in trade shows, seminars, Axis Academies, Webinars, and other promotional sales activities.
Prepare weekly sales reports with new and existing projects.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
