As a Regional Sales Manager in the Chicagoland area, you will play a pivotal role in our company's overall success. Your mission: proactively generate leads, cultivate exceptional customer relationships, and promote our products and services to boost profitability in your region. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to create, train and lead a team to support your regional efforts. In this role, you will promote ID Technology products, including label, coding & marking equipment, labels, and ribbons, within your territory. You will foster new relationships while nurturing existing accounts in an ethical and profitable manner. You will work on a team to support national accounts as needed. You will follow up on company-supplied leads in a timely manner, maintain a comprehensive prospect-customer database, and prepare proposals and quotes in alignment with company guidelines. You will generate reports using company reporting mechanisms, attend necessary training sessions and meetings as directed, and stay current on market and technical trends.

Requirements

  • A proven track record in sales with documented success
  • The ability to identify customer needs and align them with our products and services
  • Knowledge of industry trends and applications
  • Proficiency with computer systems, especially MS Office
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time, visiting prospective clients, current customers, vendors, and more
  • Access to a reliable vehicle and a clean driving record
  • A commitment to conducting business in an ethical and successful manner
