About The Position

As a Regional Manager in the Regional Solutions Network, you hold the important role of being the business leader overseeing sales, engineering, and project delivery personnel. Your primary responsibilities include hiring, developing, and supporting a highly skilled team of professionals who offer automation solutions to clients in your regional market. Working closely with each employee, you will ensure their proficiency and efficiency within their respective roles, while maintaining adherence to established policies and procedures. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading the development of new accounts, engaging in customer contract negotiations, and continuously improving both internal and external processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar technical discipline
  • Ability to understand industrial floorplans
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft applications
  • Outstanding demonstrated performance in previous career path
  • Strong strategic sales and business development skills
  • Ability to coach and mentor employees
  • Ability to build strong business relationships and partnerships
  • Excellent recruiting and retention skills
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills

Nice To Haves

  • Masters of Business Administration (MBA)
  • 5 - 10 years in material handling and/or industrial automation
  • Solution sales experience

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing strategic plans for the regional office, aligning them with the overall business objectives and targets.
  • Building and leading a high-performing team of professionals, including sales engineers, project engineers, and project managers.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the regional office, including project management, resource allocation, and budgeting.
  • Identifying and pursuing business opportunities in the region, such as new projects, partnerships, and client relationships.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction with the services provided by the Regional Office.
  • Understanding the key performance indicators for each role under their supervision and providing coaching and feedback to help employees grow in their career.
  • Building relationships inside and outside of the company, collaborating effectively with internal departments and third-party vendors.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives that help the business improve client satisfaction and efficiency of internal processes.
  • Assisting sales engineers in identifying project opportunities with potential risks and challenges, evaluating capabilities, identifying limitations, and devising alternative solutions.
