About The Position

Vast-Auto Distribution, a subsidiary of O’Reilly Automotive Inc., is a leader in auto parts distribution and retail across Eastern Canada. Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • 5–8+ years of progressive experience in sales, including leadership/people management experience
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
  • Experience in retail, automotive, or distribution environments is considered an asset
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region

Responsibilities

  • Execute regional sales strategies to drive growth and market expansion
  • Identify and grow new business opportunities to drive sales growth within the region
  • Analyze sales performance by product, customer, market trends and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Monitor market developments, including product evolution, emerging technologies, and competitive activities
  • Ensure consistent execution of sales programs, promotions, and operational standards
  • Coordinate, support, and motivate retail locations to achieve performance targets
  • Build and maintain accurate CRM data, reporting, and administrative compliance
  • Conduct regular field visits to monitor performance, provide coaching, and strengthen customer relationships
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships; resolve issues as needed
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support sales and business objectives
  • Participate in meetings, planning sessions, and industry events
  • Represent the company with regional partners and at industry-related events
  • Coach and manage the sales team; set expectations and support performance development
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
