About The Position

The Regional Sales Manager for NAPA Tools & Equipment is responsible for leading and managing the sales team within a specified geographic region to drive sales growth, increase market share, and achieve revenue targets. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, customer relationship management, and in-depth knowledge of the tools and equipment market. Position Performance Measures include: Achievement of regional sales targets and revenue goals for Tools & Equipment, growth and development of the sales team, customer satisfaction and key account retention, effective collaboration with marketing, product management, and other internal teams, and contribution to overall business strategy and execution for the Tools & Equipment segment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field
  • Significant sales management experience, preferably within the automotive aftermarket or tools and equipment industry
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with CRM and sales analytics tools

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales professionals to drive performance and professional growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic accounts
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align sales initiatives, product launches, and customer service delivery
  • Manage sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes
  • Recruit, train, and mentor sales staff, fostering a high-performing inclusive culture
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards
