Tacony Corporation is on the lookout for our next Regional Sales Manager to lead the charge in growing the sewing division by selling Baby Lock, Koala, and our other top-tier sewing brands. Your goal? Maximize market share, build strong dealer relationships, and consistently hit (or better yet, exceed) sales goals! Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • At least 5 years trade experience directly managing independent retailers and dealers
  • Strong consumer sales management experience (presenting, selling, management, reporting)
  • Strong persuasive skills with the ability to positively influence and motivate others
  • Familiarity with Sales force or equivalent CRM software
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Follow a proven sales process that has yielded success in this industry or other industries
  • Effectively manage the territory by meeting with customers on a regular cadence to understand their needs, develop sales programs that align and grow their business, and keep them updated on different brands, marketing, and advertising promotions
  • Manage regional training for customers: identifying various training needs, determining best location for optimal attendance, and facilitating the training sessions to all participants
  • Continually seek new business acquisitions to capture market share
  • Report monthly market trends, competitive information, sales/product opportunities to internal teams including Marketing and Sales Leadership
  • Attend industry shows and events for optimal product exposure
