About The Position

This role is within Baxter's Respiratory Health Division, part of the Front-Line Care business unit. This division offers products for airway clearance, mobile non-invasive ventilation, oscillation, and lung expansion therapies for respiratory diseases. These therapies are prescribed by over 14,000 physicians for more than 80,000 patients. The Patient Care Organization supports patients by explaining therapies, managing insurance, coordinating equipment delivery, training patients at home, and overseeing patient satisfaction and compliance. The role requires significant travel (60-75%) within a specific region including Ohio, Kentucky, Eastern TN, West Virginia, Pittsburgh, Detroit, and NW Indiana.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience as a top-level sales performer in the medical device or healthcare industry.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience medical device or healthcare industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively hiring, developing, and managing the performance of a sales team.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and build customer relationships.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Meets, if not exceeds, regional sales quotas.
  • Develops comprehensive, annual strategic regional plans for management review.
  • Develops and leads sales activities for the region, guided by goals and objectives of the Respiratory Health (RH) division, as well as the policies and objectives of the RH sales organization.
  • Manages a team of Account Executives and Clinical Specialists.
  • Partners with peer AVP’s, RVP and Sales VP to drive development of divisional sales policies, procedures, and strategies.
  • Nurtures and develops strong relationships with internal operations, finance, human resources, and other support functions to maximize profitability and efficiency.
  • Meets administrative expectations; understands and adheres to all company and regulatory/compliance policies and procedures.
  • Participates in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance Baxter’s processes, products, and services.
