About The Position

We are seeking a strategic, motivated, and relationship-driven Regional Sales Manager to join our team. You will play a vital role in driving revenue growth in your region by building a strong team, managing territory reseller partners, and identifying and landing new opportunities to expand our customer base. Success in this role requires a strong balance of reseller partner management, strategic prospecting, forecasting and pipeline execution. You will partner closely with different cross-functional teams like Sales Ops, Customer Success, Inside Sales, Business Development, Marketing and P&C.

Requirements

  • 4+ years building and managing high-performing sales team
  • 7+ years of sales experience within the MedTech/ dental industry
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a business or management function or equivalent experience
  • Competency in sales pipeline management and CRM tools (dynamics, salesforce)
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience building a strong sales team
  • Demonstrated consistent goal attainment through selling direct or reseller partners
  • A valid US driver’s license and legally able to work in the US
  • Comfortable working with a remote team; ideal candidate will be located within the West Coast
  • Travel domestically up to 50% and overnight up to 40%

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team of Territory Managers to achieve regional sales goals
  • Develop territory business plans for assigned sales territories
  • Foster and develop reseller relationships to maximize territory penetration
  • Mobilize regional resources to anticipate and respond to customer needs, concerns, and opportunities at the regional level
  • Understand and support efforts across all 3Shape specialized industries—Clinical, Laboratory, Orthodontics and Special Markets, both within and outside assigned region
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans for the region to expand customer base and ensure the attainment of 3Shape’s sales goals and profitability
  • Ensure internal cross-functional collaboration to drive customer satisfaction within the region and by fostering synergy and alignment to achieve targets
  • Utilize business tools to identify reseller/branch-specific growth opportunities
  • Utilize critical resources (people, process, programs, tools, and technology) to meet customer needs
  • Strategically analyze industry trends and performance metrics to drive execution and accelerate results
  • Participate in co-travels, branch meetings, reseller sales/promotional events, study club activities and business review meetings with local partners. Ensure strong 3Shape presence.
  • Support reseller and end-use customer needs and to keep abreast of business climate, sales operations processes, general product knowledge and product enhancements.
  • Participate in company-provided training and events on all 3Shape products, at the appropriate level for the region and clients
  • Participate in reseller branch promotional activities, local and national tradeshows/ exhibits/ conventions
  • Understand clinic and lab workflow, in addition to updates in product applications, market conditions, competitor activities, advertising and promotional trends
  • Build a data-driven culture by tracking sales activity using CRM
  • Effectively develop and monitor accurate sales forecasts for the territories and region overall
