The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for direct sales of all Bettcher Processing Equipment to the meat and poultry industries within the assigned territory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree. (Business Administration, Animal/Meat Science or equivalent a plus)
  • 3-5 years proven regional sales management experience
  • Proven growth through new customer acquisition and large account management success
  • Knowledge of food processing a plus
  • Employment at Bettcher Industries is contingent upon the successfully completing both a pre-employment background check and a drug screening.
  • All candidates hired must be able to provide proper documentation of their eligibility to work in the US (I-9 form).

Responsibilities

  • Drive regional sales growth through new account acquisition and expansion of existing relationships
  • Lead customer transitions to new product platforms and support adoption initiatives
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate leadership and plant management
  • Conduct product demonstrations and effectively communicate the value of Bettcher solutions
  • Identify and pursue competitive opportunities to increase market share
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage pipeline, customer data, and territory performance
  • Maintain strong account management practices and identify new business opportunities
  • Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and operational alignment
  • Provide regular reporting and market insights to support sales strategy and product development
