About The Position

Genea is seeking a driven Regional Sales Director, East to lead growth in the Eastern U.S. for smart building technology solutions including On-Demand HVAC, Submeter Billing, and Security Solutions. This role involves shaping the future of innovation for commercial real estate owners and operators, spearheading sales strategy, driving new business, and building lasting partnerships. The ideal candidate thrives on collaboration, challenges, and closing significant deals.

Requirements

  • Based in the Eastern U.S., ideally the New York City metro area.
  • 5+ years of sales experience in SaaS or technology solutions targeting the Commercial Real Estate industry.
  • Proven success in hitting and exceeding quotas, with a knack for identifying, qualifying, and closing deals that matter.
  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce and CRM-driven sales management.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset — analytical, strategic, and driven to deliver results.
  • A true team player who thrives in a collaborative environment, works seamlessly across departments, and contributes to a culture of support, trust, and shared success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute bold, measurable sales strategies to capture new CRE customers and deepen relationships with existing ones.
  • Use data-driven forecasting and performance analytics within Salesforce to hit and exceed revenue goals.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Implementation, Customer Success, Finance, Product, and Technology to ensure smooth onboarding and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Report key wins, revenue progress, and regional insights directly to the Head of Sales and leadership team.
  • Represent Genea as a trusted advisor and thought leader in the CRE tech space, nurturing long-term relationships that drive mutual success.
  • Take initiative, innovate, and help shape the strategies that will define Genea’s next phase of growth.
