About The Position

Pioneer Aero Supply, LLC is seeking an experienced and well-connected Regional Sales and Business Development Director to expand and strengthen our presence in the Chinese and Indian aviation aftermarket industry. The ideal candidate will bring at least 10 years of industry experience, deep connections with end users (especially airlines), and a proven ability to open doors, visit customers regularly, and drive new business opportunities. While your primary mission will be to develop new airline relationships, secure approvals, and expand our trading footprint, we expect this role will also bring significant opportunities to procure assets.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the aviation aftermarket industry with proven airline/end-user contacts.
  • Demonstrated track record of generating new business and securing approved supplier status.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently (approximately one trip every 2–3 weeks).
  • Proficient in relationship management, complex negotiation, and deal closing.
  • Experience with AvSight, Salesforce or other similar platforms is highly preferred.
  • Mandarin, Cantonese, Hindi, Urdu, or other APAC region language skills are a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Define regional market strategy and deliver on corresponding revenue opportunities.
  • Understand and provide a strategic vision for short- and long-term growth and market expansion within the assigned territory.
  • Identify, approach, and secure new airline and end-user customers across China and India, while supporting the Asia team in developing other Asian territories.
  • Leverage industry connections to establish Pioneer Aero Supply as an approved supplier with targeted accounts.
  • Identify new revenue streams including parts programs, contracts, and consignment opportunities.
  • Negotiate standard contracts and execute complex strategic deals.
  • Interact effectively with business partners at all executive levels.
  • Generate sales and acquisition leads and manage pipeline development from initial contact through sales closure.
  • Visit customers regularly, maintaining a visible and trusted presence in the marketplace.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to generate new leads and strengthen relationships.
  • Collaborate with sales, assets, and procurement teams to pursue high-value opportunities.
  • Manage a portfolio of key accounts and serve as the main point of contact for assigned customer and vendor relationships.
  • Develop and execute tailored account plans to maximize relationship value and overall business potential.
  • Respond to RFQs/RFPs, prepare commercial proposals, and manage customer communications to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with End-User customers, MROs, OEMs, vendors, and repair facilities.
  • Perform aircraft and engine asset valuations to guide commercial decision-making.
  • Build and execute financial modeling for purchases, sales, leases, and consignments.
  • Conduct rigorous risk-and-return analysis for potential inventory acquisitions.
  • Analyze margins, cash flow, and lifecycle economics across target assets.
  • Evaluate maintenance exposure, green time, Life-Limited Parts (LLP) values, and teardown economics.
  • Perform portfolio performance monitoring and multi-scenario economic modeling.
  • Identify and procure high-demand parts for resale, managing purchase prices, repair cycles, and sales strategies to minimize risk and maximize profitability.
  • Source and qualify new vendors to support inventory needs and evolving market demands.
  • Identify large-scale opportunities (teardowns, engine operational support solutions/OSS, incoming and outgoing consignments) and bring them to fruition.
  • Develop and refine pricing models using AvSight, and other key market data intelligence platforms.
  • Conduct quantitative market forecasting and data-driven evaluations of regional market opportunities.
  • Utilize market data and customer feedback to shape overall sales strategies and capitalize on emerging industry trends.
  • Track and report on KPIs, sales pipeline activities, and market shifts to inform executive leadership.
  • Maintain strong CRM discipline across all opportunities and customer interactions.
