Dohrn is seeking a Full Time Safety Supervisor in the IL or WI area. This position would operate out of our Rock Island, IL, Chicago, IL, or Milwaukee, WI terminal.

Requirements

Valid Driver License
Experience driving Tractor-Trailer required
Experience in Driver Training and Safety required
Must Possess valid driver license (CDL) issued by the resident state of the driver
No record of citation or conviction of any DUI / OWI or Reckless Driving or any disqualifying events within the previous 5 years
Must have and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Familiarity with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing Transportation industry
Understanding of DOT, OSHA, and EPA regulations
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills needed to effectively communicate with drivers, dock personnel, and middle and upper management
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Detail-oriented, analytical thinker, and problem-solver
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work in a team environment or independently
Extensive travel required to all outer terminals
Excellent attendance
