About The Position

Fox Trail Memory Care is seeking a Regional RN to provide clinical leadership and hands-on nursing expertise dedicated to exceptional dementia and memory care. This is an opportunity to guide nursing operations, mentor a caregiving team, and directly shape the quality of life for residents and their families. This impactful role provides clinical oversight and leadership across 14 small memory care communities.

Requirements

  • Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license, in good standing
  • At least 1 year of administrative and/or management experience
  • Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluent English required
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and assist residents as needed to provide direct care
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods throughout the community, as well as work at a desk for periods of time

  • Experience in assisted living and/or dementia care settings preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct clinical oversight and leadership for nursing operations, ensuring residents receive exceptional, person-centered dementia and memory care.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff and caregivers, fostering a culture of accountability, compassion, and professional growth.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor nursing policies, procedures, and care protocols in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Assess residents on a scheduled and as-needed basis, and oversee development and modification of individualized care plans.
  • Lead survey readiness efforts, participate in mock surveys, and develop corrective action plans to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing education of nursing staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels and skill mix.
  • Review Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) data to identify trends and drive clinical excellence.
  • Collaborate with medical providers, therapists, families, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate and integrate resident care plans.
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents when necessary, according to established policies and procedures.
  • Ensure infection control, safety, and emergency procedures are understood and followed throughout the community.
  • Readily report any concerns regarding resident safety, abuse, or inappropriate care.
