Requirements
- A professional, self-directed approach and sharp organizational skills
- Strong logical thinking to solve problems and act decisively
- The ability to clearly share ideas and goals with others
- Comfort with an active, hands-on role: walking properties, climbing stairs, and being on your feet
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time
Responsibilities
- Lead with Purpose: Set the example through your attitude, knowledge, and treatment of others
- Communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and in person
- Drive implementation of company policies and initiatives across your portfolio
- Hold your team accountable by celebrating wins and coaching through challenges
- Build Great Teams: Hire and support Property Managers across your portfolio
- Coordinate training for on-site associates
- Champion the Resident Experience: Ensure on-site customer service practices reflect industry best practices
- Step in to resolve escalated customer service concerns
- Own the Physical Product: Conduct regular property inspections and drive improvement plans
- Partner with vendors and contractors on services, pricing, and terms
- Drive Financial Performance: Build marketing, leasing, renewal, and budget plans that move the needle
- Monitor performance against goals and correct course when needed
- Grow the Business: Identify and pursue new fee management business opportunities
- Be a True Partner: Report to the Director of Management Operations and company ownership
- Collaborate across departments including HR, accounting, construction, and development
