About The Position

Kunes Auto & RV Group is seeking a Regional Performance Marketing Manager to oversee the daily performance of digital and retail marketing for a portfolio of dealership locations. This role focuses on paid digital media, lead generation, marketing analytics, local retail execution, and ROI. The successful candidate will analyze data to identify effective strategies, optimize campaigns, and drive measurable store-level results. This position requires collaboration with dealership General Managers, sales and service leaders, the corporate marketing team, agencies, and vendors. Experience in automotive, RV, powersports, or multi-location retail marketing is highly preferred.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in performance marketing, digital marketing, retail marketing, or paid media.
  • Experience managing or evaluating Google Ads, paid social, display, or other digital advertising campaigns.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing marketing KPIs and making recommendations based on performance.
  • Experience managing meaningful marketing budgets.
  • Strong Excel, reporting, and dashboard skills.
  • Ability to work directly with operational leaders and explain marketing performance in practical business terms.
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills.
  • Comfortable managing multiple locations, campaigns, priorities, and deadlines.

  • Automotive dealership marketing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor performance across paid search, paid social, display, retargeting, geo-targeted, and local digital campaigns.
  • Evaluate campaign effectiveness and adjust spend, targeting, messaging, or channel mix.
  • Recommend optimizations and incremental investments to centralized marketing and media teams.
  • Track and report on KPIs including VDP views, website traffic, lead volume, cost per lead, conversion rates, closing ratios, marketing spend, cost per sale, and ROI.
  • Translate marketing data into clear recommendations for regional and dealership leadership.
  • Identify underperforming campaigns and develop corrective action plans.
  • Monitor marketing budgets across assigned dealership locations and track spend against budgets.
  • Identify pacing issues, unused budget, and opportunities to reallocate spend.
  • Partner with General Managers, sales leaders, and fixed-operations leaders to align marketing programs with inventory, sales objectives, service capacity, seasonality, and local market conditions.
  • Provide regular marketing-performance reviews and recommendations to store leadership.
  • Manage OEM marketing requirements and co-op compliance, maintaining documentation for reimbursement.
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure campaign compliance with internal teams and partners.
  • Serve as a day-to-day contact for marketing agencies, technology partners, and third-party vendors.
  • Monitor vendor performance and hold partners accountable to KPIs, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Identify when vendor performance requires intervention or escalation.
  • Monitor online reviews, CSI, and customer sentiment across assigned locations using tools like Kenect.
  • Recommend actions to improve ratings, review performance, and customer sentiment.
  • Monitor store-level social activity and posting frequency, tracking compliance with company and FTC requirements.
  • Identify stores needing additional support or corrective action.
  • Coordinate regional and store-level execution within the campaign operating model.
  • Manage multiple campaigns, locations, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ensure required approvals and campaign milestones are completed on time.
