Regional Packaging Sales Representative
About The Position
The Opportunity You will lead packaging sales growth across the Houston market for a corrugated manufacturing leader. This is an expansion-focused role in one of the strongest industrial and manufacturing corridors in the country. You will build your own book of business by selling custom corrugated solutions to manufacturing, logistics, and distribution clients. Requirements
- 3+ years of packaging sales experience, including corrugated sales experience (required)
- A proven record of selling into the Houston market and developing new business
- A clear understanding of custom packaging solutions versus commodity sales
- A hunter's mindset and the ability to manage a territory independently
- Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Bachelor's degree preferred

- An established network in Houston's manufacturing, distribution, or industrial sectors (a major plus)
Responsibilities
- Own your territory: Prospect and build relationships across Greater Houston and the surrounding Gulf Coast region
- Sell custom corrugated packaging: Match boxes and packaging solutions to each customer's specifications, operations, and cost goals
- Manage the full sales cycle: Generate leads, assess needs, quote, close, and manage accounts
- Win new business and grow existing accounts: Expand the accounts you hold while opening new ones
- Meet clients in person: Visit customers throughout Houston and nearby areas to strengthen relationships and close deals
- Prepare proposals: Build RFQs, RFPs, pricing strategies, and product recommendations that fit customer needs
- Work with production and design: Deliver cost-effective custom solutions alongside your internal teams
- Keep your pipeline strong: Forecast sales activity accurately using CRM tools
- Stay current on your market: Track local trends, the competitive landscape, and key industries including energy, food and beverage, and industrial manufacturing
